I’m Michele (or Chele, for short!) and I’m an Art Director/Designer by day, and illustrator, jewelry-maker, photographer and baker extraordinaire by night. I’m also a newlywed, and blissfully enjoying married life with my handsome hubby!
Though currently stuck inland, I come from a family of Navy and Coast Guardsmen, and grew up boating, fishing & beachcombing. I’ve always had a passion for the sea and LOVE being on the water. Over the years, I’ve even been lucky enough to volunteer as a watchstander at Boston Lighthouse which sparked my fascination with lighthouses. In recent months I’ve also fallen madly in love with sailing.
Someday the hubby and I plan to have a sea-worthy sailboat and a beautiful, little hydrangea-filled cottage on the coast where we can sail, swim and shell to our heart’s content! But for now, I stay inspired with frequent trips to the coast and satisfy my need for the sea by creating the coastal crafts in my Etsy shop.
My photos, illustrations and jewelry are all inspired by my love of the ocean and my visits to the beaches, lighthouses and coastal towns of New England.
